The JHG-KBR JV have delivered a wide range of important infrastructure projects for the region including, water and sewer pipeline renewals, treatment plant upgrades, civil and road works and reservoir improvements. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineer to join our Melbourne Water Framework to support our tender team based in Canterbury, VIC.Your Role: Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the site manager or project manager Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports Analyse and use document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting compliance reporting About You: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical & Electrical Experience working for a tier 1 or 2 Civil Contractor 4+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, control systems, or commissioning roles. Extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment plant systems and pumping stations. A deep understanding of project scopes, including: Water treatment systems (e.g., filtration, UV disinfection, chemical dosing, water transfer stations, stormwater diversion systems). Sewerage treatment facilities (e.g., primary screening, grit removal, primary and secondary treatment, odour and biogas treatment, sludge handling and storage). Proven capability in delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including upgrades and construction within live environments.
