REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years’ consultancy experience
• MRICS qualified or on APC pathway (support is provided in house)
• Strong background in commercial fit-out, workplace, or similar built environment projects
• Confident communicator – able to manage client relationships and technical discussions
• Ambitious and driven with a desire to grow within a highly respected consultancy
• Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel) with strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Solid understanding of building services (mechanical & electrical systems), with the ability to liaise confidently with engineers and technical consultants

We’re currently working with a specialist cost consultancy in the built environment, known for delivering high-profile commercial and office fit-out projects across London and the South East.
They are now seeking experienced M&E Quantity Surveyors to join their team, ideally with chartered status (MRICS) or actively working toward it. This is an exciting opportunity to join a consultancy that values precision, innovation, and client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and deliver full cost consultancy duties across the lifecycle of fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Handle M&E packages on high-end commercial projects (Cat A & Cat B)
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and design teams
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, cost planning, and post-contract financial reporting
• Conduct value engineering and lifecycle costing where required
