JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Multi Skilled Shift Technician, you will play a key role in delivering both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across a major, fast-paced critical environment.
You will also manage and escort specialist subcontractors, ensuring all M&E tasks and maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards and in line with compliance requirements.

PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong focus on customer service
  • Experience in M&E building maintenance
  • Previous work in Data Centre or Critical Environments
  • Health & Safety awareness; IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable
  • Holds a BTEC or City & Guilds certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of critical systems operations
  • Committed to maintaining high standards in safety and service delivery
Responsibilities
  • Understand and apply SSOW and ISS Policies for effective risk mitigation
  • HV/LV Authorised Person duties, including safety program creation and switching operations (if electrically biased)
  • Prioritise and schedule tasks to meet SLA requirements
  • Monitor and respond to critical systems and HVAC performance parameters
  • Oversee and support engineering work across the site
  • Ensure accurate shift handover and escalation of issues
  • Deliver high-quality PPM and reactive maintenance within SLA targets
