Are you a hands on leader with a strong background in electrical and have a passion for infrastructure maintenance? Then our M&E Supervisor opportunity working on the Transurban Queensland Contract in Brisbane, may be just the role for you. Reporting to the M&E Superintendent, you will be responsible for the planning, supervision and delivery of M&E/ITS maintenance activities. You will build a capable, collaborative team that delivers high quality services safely, efficiently and in line with contractual KPIs. What’s on offer Attractive salary + on call allowance + iPhone + flexibility Access to a variety of Health and Wellness initiatives - including the EAP, Ventia's Healthy Minds program and Healthy Bodies program Employee benefits such as corporate travel discounts, Novated leases, private health discounts, credit discounts and more Ownership of role, career stability and development opportunities Collaborative and supportive team Career stability and longevity Key accountabilities Prepare scopes of work and expectations to be issued to subcontractors (including compliance and performance requirements and monitor these during delivery ensuring any corrective actions are taken and continuously drive improvements) Supervise works to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery and identify core services efficiencies, subcontractor arrangements and Maximo data capture on a 24/7 network approach Delivery of maintenance work ensuring all specific outcomes are achieved including technical specifications, program, traffic management, quality and client requirements Develop and enhance strong working relationships with the client and interface teams Manage clear working structure and arrangements with maintenance team and clear and open communication between management, supervisors and technicians HSE Management – contributing to a “Safety and Health above all else” culture, ensuring policies / procedures / legislative requirements are met, monitoring performance, ensuring contractors / staff are appropriately trained and inducted and risk assessments / analysis are completed Participating in the on-call duty supervisor roster and actively addressing issues and following the escalation process where required About you It is essential that you have experience in a similar role with an electrical or mechanical background (tunnel network experience is highly regarded). QLD Electrical licence and trade background High Voltage Switching & Maintenance operation (desirable) Current drivers’ licence Construction white card Able to demonstrate ability to manage maintenance works, materials, test and monitor quality and understand asset management and life cycle modelling Strong planning, organisation and communication skills Well-developed leadership skills and experience Develop and maintain sound professional relationships with various stakeholders About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
