Role Overview Our company is developing cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft, constantly pursuing innovative technology to realize the future of aerial mobility. We are looking for an M&P Engineer (Materials Certification) to manage the certification of materials currently used in our aircraft, in addition to conducting research and development (R&D) of new materials and technologies for next-generation aircraft. This is a highly rewarding position where you will work closely with the design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure our technological superiority. Responsibilities Develop and execute certification plans for materials (metals, composites, specialty materials) and processes used in aircraft. Manage testing and evaluation required for certification and perform technical reviews. Liaise and negotiate with aviation regulatory authorities (e.g., JCAB, FAA) to obtain approval for the certification process. Collaborate with suppliers and external testing laboratories to ensure the quality and reliability of materials and processes. Create and approve technical documentation and reports required for certification. Investigate and evaluate high-performance, lightweight new materials and innovative processes for future eVTOL airframes. Essential Skills Experience in M&P (Materials & Processes) or materials certification within the aviation industry. Experience in R&D or technical evaluation of materials (metals, composites, etc.) Desirable Skills Practical knowledge of and experience with aviation standards and regulations (e.g., FAA Part 25, AS9100, NADCAP). Experience in liaising/negotiating with aviation regulatory authorities. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Certification experience in a new aircraft program. Knowledge of Fracture Mechanics and Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI). Experience in evaluating new materials or in R&D projects for new technologies. Experience operating a Quality Management System (QMS). Business-level English proficiency. Skills for Collaborative Success Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking to handle complex technical challenges. A self-starter who can independently generate ideas and proceed after confirming with their manager. Strong curiosity and drive to proactively acquire necessary knowledge.
