Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sensor/IoT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in science, technology, hardware, and coding, with a strong data-oriented mindset. The role requires someone comfortable working in onsite terrain environments, engaging with stakeholders, and bringing an innovative and out-of-the-box problem-solving approach to IoT and sensor-related projects. Responsibilities: Develop and integrate IoT sensor systems for various applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Design, prototype, and test sensor hardware solutions while considering environmental and operational factors. Implement and optimize software solutions to collect, process, and analyze sensor data efficiently. Analyze and interpret sensor data to derive actionable insights and improve system accuracy. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise in sensor and IoT deployments. Ensure system compatibility with existing IoT architectures and perform troubleshooting when necessary. Conduct field testing and deployments, ensuring that systems perform effectively in real-world terrain conditions. Identify and innovate new approaches to enhance sensor performance and IoT applications. Maintain documentation on system designs, technical specifications, and troubleshooting guidelines. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IoT, or a related field. Hands-on experience with hardware, firmware, and sensor technologies. Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, C/C++, or embedded systems programming. Strong ability to process and analyze sensor data, with experience in data visualization tools and methodologies. Comfortable working in field or terrain-based environments, conducting deployments, and troubleshooting on-site. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions for sensor and IoT challenges.
