ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and proactive M365 Engineer to join our Cardiff Bay team. This hybrid role involves working from the office at least 50% of the time, in line with our hybrid working policy.
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and securing our modern cloud-first infrastructure. You’ll focus on Microsoft Azure and M365 services—including the Enterprise Mobility + Security (EM+S) suite—supporting secure and accessible environments across our organisation.
This is a collaborative, hands-on role where your insight and experience will shape our end-user compute strategy and support smooth, secure service delivery.

️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and support a range of M365 services (e.g. Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, OneDrive, Power Platform).
  • Escalate and resolve technical issues, including working with vendors.
  • Strengthen security and compliance across M365 and SaaS platforms.
  • Identify and automate repeatable processes to improve efficiency.
  • Produce metrics and documentation to support system management.
  • Contribute to solution architecture and technical planning.
  • Stay current with M365 updates and the Microsoft roadmap.
  • Provide advanced (3rd-line) support for technical issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and non-technical teams to support organisation-wide needs.
