Where Cloud lives and AI thrives Job Description As our Microsoft 365 Engineer you’ll be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining M365 and O365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint, while managing user accounts, licenses, and security policies. Here you will also handle migration planning, system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with NEXTDC’s data security requirements. Within this position, your scope will cover: Configuring, deploying, and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Office 365 services (including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams) Managing user accounts, permissions, licensing, and subscriptions Administering security requirements including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Office 365 Security and Compliance Planning and executing migrations and third-party integrations between Microsoft 365 environments and other systems Managing integrations across all collaboration tools to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience Monitoring system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to users, including after-hours support as needed Managing backup, recovery, and data protection strategies for Microsoft 365 services Qualifications 5 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments, particularly in migration, user management, and security administration Relevant Microsoft 365 certifications are highly desirable Prior experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Your technical capability: Expertise in the M365 environment and related services Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD Experience in M365 migration strategies and third-party integrations Robust knowledge in system configuration, user management, and license administration Familiarity with backup, recovery, and troubleshooting strategies in a Microsoft 365 environment Ability to manage and configure enterprise-level IT systems Experience in software deployment, patch management, and system updates Experience in Azure licensing and subscription management Additional Information Opportunity to be a vital part of NEXTDC and the expanding Data Centre world Inclusive, diverse and values-driven working culture Great opportunities to progress within our company (grow as we grow) Our mission is to continue building a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents the communities in which we operate.
