The SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s SharePoint environment and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role combines technical administration, solution development, user support, and strategic planning to ensure collaboration platforms effectively meet business needs. You will collaborate closely with business functions, content owners, and users to understand requirements and deliver organization-wide solutions. Working alongside your manager for strategic alignment and resource planning, you’ll coordinate with the information security team and help desk staff to resolve issues efficiently. You’ll also partner with cross-functional teams including communications for intranet platforms, HR for onboarding processes, records management for compliance policies, and business analysts for process improvements. Additionally, you’ll engage with Microsoft support when escalating complex technical challenges, partner with third-party vendors for integrated solutions and add-ons, and work with consultants on specialized implementations or migrations.
