As a Float Medical Assistant, you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of working with new teams, in diverse settings and managing a wide range of tasks from clinical to clerical. Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in customer focused/service setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience working in a medical facility as a Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Tech, PCT, or CNA.
  • CPR certification
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, experience in a private medical office or urgent care setting is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and own reliable transportation

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively through electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Establish and maintain professional interpersonal interactions with patients, families, physicians, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Escort patients to rooms.
  • Obtain and record vital signs.
  • Set up for anticipated provider procedures and examinations.
  • Perform EKG’s.
  • Perform screenings and tests per provider direction.
  • Perform Point of Care Testing
