Our dynamic and inclusive culture fosters personal and professional growth, making us an ideal employer for career advancement.  JOB SUMMARY  The Machine Attendant trims flash, hot stamps, and inspects a variety of plastic products, including tubs, totes, and waste containers.  JOB DUTIES * Trims flash from molded parts * Removes sprue from products. * Hots stamps, imprints, and/or assembles products as per order specification. * Monitors production process and notifies supervisor of non-conformities. * Makes adjustments in the Plantstar System to account for rejects as needed. * Inspects all parts and documents action on the In-Process Inspection Log every 30 minutes. * Completes all documentation and product control functions as instructed. * Assists with first piece inspection. * Performs general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation. * Assists in the training of new employees.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Three months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment * Prior injection molding experience helpful  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES  * Ability to pay close attention to detail * Ability to maintain a work pace equal to the machine cycle PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT  * Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where there is exposure to noise and moving mechanical parts * Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, and/or feel objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, talk, see, and hear         Machine Attendant - Heavy * Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently * Ability to roll up to 450 lbs.
