Location: Spring Arbor, MI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours/week, overtime and some weekends required)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of machine building or machine servicing experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly and controls drawings.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical machine operations with basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 75 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, loud environments, exposure to moving machinery).

ABOUT THE ROLE

Wardcraft is seeking a Machine Builder (Assembler) to join our team. This role is key to ensuring our machines and products meet customer expectations by focusing on quality, precision, and teamwork. If you enjoy hands-on assembly, wiring, and working with mechanical systems, this position could be a great fit for you.
Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble machines and products using blueprints, work orders, and established standards.
  • Perform wiring of electrical components.
  • Accurately track and enter time and materials to the proper work orders.
  • Collaborate with the Shipping Coordinator to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain quality standards to ensure products perform well during and after the warranty period.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe in accordance with MIOSHA standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
