Description Machine Cleaner- Maintenance Tech- Associate Starting Pay-$19/hr.+ Differential East Peoria, IL – Caterpillar Facility Day Shift: 10 PM -6:30 AM Sunday-Friday Morning A Day in the Life Looking for a hands-on job where you can stay active and make an impact? As a Machine Cleaner, you'll help keep Caterpillar's manufacturing equipment clean, safe, and ready for production. Your day will consist of removing metal chips and debris from machines, cleaning equipment, and helping keep the shop running smoothly. No extensive experience is required—we'll provide the training and PPE you need to work safely and succeed. What You'll Do Remove metal chips and debris from machinery Clean and prepare equipment for production Use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE Work alongside a supportive maintenance team Keep your work area clean and organized Requirements What We're Looking For Reliable and dependable? Comfortable working in an industrial environment? Able to lift, bend, stand, and stay active throughout the shift? Positive attitude and willingness to learn? Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required Path to Full-Time Employment This position starts through our staffing partner for the first 90 days. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to learn the role, demonstrate your skills, and become part of the team. Employees who show strong attendance, a positive attitude, a solid work ethic, and the ability to perform the job successfully may be offered a full-time position with Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions (MMS) after 90 days.
