JOB SUMMARY:

A Machine Electrician is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment used in manufacturing or production processes. The role involves ensuring machines run efficiently, troubleshooting any issues, and performing regular maintenance to minimize downtime.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in Electrical Machine repair is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience as an machine/ electrical or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy parts, work in various conditions, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.

• Set up and calibrate machinery for production runs based on job specifications.

• Perform regular maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain records of machine maintenance, repairs, and parts replacement.

• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and management to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate machine use and troubleshooting.
