Description Three D Metals is currently looking for candidates to work in a production setting on its weekend shift. The weekend shift runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6 am - 6 pm, with a 45 minute unpaid lunch, and two 10-minute paid breaks. SUMMARY Sets up overarm to appropriate size and sets up plates on rewinder. Hangs coil on uncoiler. Unloads coil on conveyor line and unloads scrap. Assists operator in maximizing productivity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reads and understands job ticket. Loads coil on uncoiler. Unloads scrap. Unloads cuts from uncoiler to turnstile Cuts cores Basic math skills. Set up overarm. Cuts bands. Basic house keeping. Coordinate necessary material for job. Prepare finished coils for packaging Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE GED/High School diploma No prior experience or training. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Crane certification provided by company.
