MACHINE HELPER $16.63/hr., Full-time, Monday thru Friday with overtime required when necessary, including some weekends.   This is an entry-level hourly position with growth potential!  You will be responsible for all activities associated with helping operators on your assigned machine.  This includes setup, operation, clean-up, quality checks and recommending improvements to operations.   QUALIFICATIONS * Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Work at a fast-pace set by the machine operator in order to adhere to production schedule. * In accordance with proper techniques, assist in the set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine accurately. * Monitor board quality for any defects and report problems to the operator. * Complete all necessary reporting in an accurate and timely manner. * Willingness to move up the line of progression and cross-train on other machines. * Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintain good housekeeping.       Perks of Pratt! Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.   REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.   TECHNICAL SKILLS The individual must have a working knowledge of the following: * Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation. * Product layouts and production specifications * Product quality specifications * Quality standards   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS The performance of the employee will be measured as follows: Operating standards - the employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards in the areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity.
