Accountabilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of efficient, scalable machine learning systems in production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and deliver impactful solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor for data and ML technologies, shaping use cases, architecture, and implementation strategies. Promote engineering excellence by reusing and sharing solutions across teams where possible. Mentor and develop internal technical talent while actively contributing to team knowledge and growth. Influence stakeholders at all levels through clear communication of technical strategies and benefits. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; Master’s preferred. 7+ years of experience in data engineering and ML, including 5+ years in data architecture. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, and SQL. Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, Spark) and cloud services (AWS Glue/Kinesis). Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake, and at least 1 year deploying machine learning models in production. Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to mentor and guide teams. Ability to balance technical expertise with inclusive leadership, fostering idea sharing and innovation. Competitive base salary range: $239,900 - $273,800 (remote, location-dependent). Performance-based incentive compensation including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
