OVERVIEW

We are seeking experienced and competent Machine Operators to join our team on active civils and groundwork projects across multiple locations. This role involves operating a range of plant machinery and supporting the groundworks team when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card for relevant machinery
• CSCS Card (some sites require)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating plant on civil or groundwork sites
• Lifting Ops
• Solid understanding of safe plant operation and site protocols
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Valid UK driver’s licence preferred but not essential
• Own PPE

• Operate 360° Excavators (5T–40T), Forward Tipping Dumpers, or Ride-On Rollers
• Perform excavation, backfilling, and general earthworks
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on plant
• Assist with groundworks when not operating
• Follow Health & Safety procedures, RAMS, and site-specific protocols
• Report mechanical issues or site hazards promptly
• Work closely with ground teams and site supervisors to meet deadlines
