Job Details Job Location: COT IA - Missouri Valley, IA 51555 Salary Range: $17.50 Hourly Tremendous opportunity to get involved with the industry leading trailer manufacturer. $1000 Sign-on/Retention Bonus Available ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient and effective set-up and operating off all machines in the machine shop including but not limited to, band saws, chop saws, drill presses, punch presses, circular saws, power tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools. They should have the ability to be self-sufficient and act as a trainer for all lower-level Machine Operators. KEY FUNCTIONS Maintain a safe and clean working environment Change tools, blades, drills, as necessary General upkeep and basic maintenance of machines in machine shop Organizing and storing of cut materials Inventory raw and cut materials 5S of work area, including tools and machines Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent GED Mechanical aptitude Ability to read blueprints, and/or cut sheets Medical, Dental, Vision, company paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage. 401K with company match – $1000 Sign-on/Retention Bonus Available Paid Vacation Qualifications
