Description Machine Operator (1st Shift) Schedule: 7:30am – 4:00pm (1st Shift) 3:45pm - 12:15pm (2nd Shift) Description Eastern Metal Framing of New Jersey is looking for a motivated and reliable Operator to add to our Production Team. You will have the opportunity to be part of a fast pace and growing company. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitudes and a willingness to learn. Job Function Operate machinery in a safe, efficient, and productive manner to support business requirements. Align and place tools, cutters, guides, and stops correctly in machine during set up process. Achieve daily production goals and daily scrap goals. Monitor and operate equipment and support staff during operation to ensure quality production. Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Keeps a daily activity log of production notes. Requirements Requirements: Knowledge of production procedures & basic computer knowledge. Proficiency with hand tools. Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Motivated, coachable, and able to follow instructions. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people from all levels and departments. Ability to communicate effectively in English. High attention to detail.
Responsibilities
The Machine Operator will safely, efficiently, and productively operate machinery to meet business requirements, including setting up tools and monitoring equipment during operation.
