Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  * This list is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary from time to time. * Change over equipment for various sizes of containers to be run. * Keep weight sheets and other recordkeeping as required by production and/or quality control. * Clean up machines and work area after the production run. * Perform quality control duties as required. * Make minor adjustments to machinery as needed. * Relieve other operators during breaks as needed and have knowledge of all facets of each production line. * Perform housekeeping projects such as paint, mop, dust, polish stainless steel and general cleaning in the plant as needed. * Any other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Assistant Plant Manager.    Minimum Qualifications:  * Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must have a good work ethic. * Must have a history of an excellent attendance record. * Must be able to read, write legibly, and speak English. * Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.  * Must be able to communicate and work well with others. * Must be self-motivated. Physical Requirements:  * Required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. * Ability to sit for long periods of time. * Ability to lift up to 50 LBS. * Close vision abilities are required.
Responsibilities
The operator is responsible for changing over equipment for various container sizes and performing quality control duties. Additionally, they must maintain a clean work area and perform general plant housekeeping projects.
