Overview Join us as a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) and see how your variety of routine and non-routine machining make a difference and how critical it is to helping us deliver on our purpose and achieve our goals. Element is searching for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined person to add to the Machine shop. This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process. Element is a world renown Aerospace Testing Company with clients such as Boeing, SpaceX and Blue Origin. Salary: $20/hr-$24/hr + $1.00 Shift Diff once on 2nd shift Responsibilities Willing to train the right candidate Set-up, Operate and Monitor machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerances Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals Select, Align, and Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines Safely operate Machine Shop equipment such as saws, waterjet, lathe, mill, and grinder to produce test specimens from customer supplied parts, forgings, etc. Ability to use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers Skills / Qualifications Is this job for me?
