You will make an impact and be successful in this role with the following skills and responsibilities: Position Summary Operate machinery relevant to the production of core components. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Needs to understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they are related to this position. Must read and interpret production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quality plans. Use fixed and variable measurement equipment. CORE MACHINE OPERATOR "C" Basic Machine Operations on Braze cut length machine, upcut saw and cut to length little bar machine. May require 0-1 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Requires a high school diploma. Has to pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days. Reports to a Lead or supervisor. Skills and Attributes Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternate solutions. Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Enter and record data in SAP, Excel, and other software programs. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED or up to 1-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Safety and Personal Protective Equipment Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
