If you are looking to be challenged, valued, and rewarded with a competitive compensation package in a dynamic work environment, this position is for you!  About the Position: The Machine Operator is responsible responsible for operating basic metal working machinery to perform machining operations on ferrous and nonferrous metals and plastic parts, weldments, or assemblies to engineering specifications in compliance with all MEMCO policies and procedures. This position requires the following proficiencies: * Read and interpret drawings, specifications, or follow verbal instructions of Lead Hand or Supervisor with minimal supervision. * Set up and operate one or more metalworking machines such as; band saw, burn table, brake press, and computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment. * Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. * Operate material handling devices such as; overhead crane, gantry crane, and forklift in compliance with applicable safety standards and best practices. Material handling includes safe rigging and transportation of various loads. * Document Engineering Change Requests according to applicable procedures under direction of Supervisor. * Adopt and practice good housekeeping, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles. * Basic operations on manual machines with supervision. * Able to layout parts to specification. * Abide by all applicable regulatory and company-specific safety standards. * Abide by ISO 9001 Quality Management System and associated procedures. * Contribute to continual improvement of safety, quality, product, production, work environment.  * Willing to cross-train in other departments as needed on a temporary basis.
