This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret detailed work order instructions. Load raw aluminum material onto machines using a chain hoist. Program and operate multiple machines simultaneously. Use basic hand tools such as wrenches and hex keys to make machine adjustments. Inspect product quality continuously throughout the process. Label, document, and sort fins for the next step in production. Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment. Conduct tolerance checks as required by work instructions. Meet daily and weekly production quotas as directed by the Lead or Supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Use basic computer skills to input production data, complete checklists, and follow electronic work instructions. Promptly report any equipment or product issues to the Supervisor. Follow all environmental and safety procedures as outlined in AKG’s Environmental Management System (EMS). Physical Requirements: Ability to stand (80%) and walk (20%) during the shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist, and turn. Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (approximately 15% of the time). Use of pallet jacks, chain hoists, and other standard shop equipment.
