DESCRIPTION

Machine Operator
Location: Collingwood
Pay Rate: $23.50/hr (increase to $23.75/ hour after probation)
Hours: plant runs 24/7.

These positions require the ability to work a rotating continental shift or a 3 shift rotation depending on department

• 12 hour continental shifts, rotation of 2 weeks days, 2 weeks midnights
• Day shift hours 7:30am – 7:30pm/ Midnight shift hours 7:30pm – 7:30am
• One week consists of 3 days of work and the other week consists of 4 days of work
• Work every other weekend
• 3 shift rotation, Days – 7:30am – 3:30pm Afternoons – 3:30pm – 11:30pm and Midnights – 11:30pm – 7:30am

Responsibilities:

• Work in various areas of production
• Cutting/ trimming, packing off the line, running CNC machines, running print lines
• Always work with safety and quality in mind
• Meet production quotas
• Have multiple cells where the candidate will be working in - they will determine which cell would be best for each candidate based on their experience and skill set. Candidates may rotate around to different cells

Requirements:

• Prior manufacturing experience
• High School Diploma
• Ability to complete a criminal background check
• Hearing test and physical covered by the company
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Lifting windshields with assistance
• Must wear company provided safety gear such as safety glasses, vest, gloves, cuffs and aprons
• Must have good attendance
