Job Title: Machine Operator Department: Production Reports To (Title): Juan Claudio & Roberto Pizano Supervisor Position Summary: a notching operator would on a daily basis, have to stand for 8 hours at various style notch presses and individually load and unload parts onto the press. Align parts as needed and do minor inspection checks. Follow all safety measures, confirm press is fully operational, and all equipment/materials are available to do daily tasks. Be able to use computer system and record production made on given job(s). Have a clean and safe workstation. Essential Job Duties: Analyze job travelers, work pieces, packaging instructions and blueprints to determine process, materials, machines, tooling, and sequence of. Sets up ancillary equipment required for production: including conveyors, feed line, tooling sensors, safety devices, and stacking. Be able to pass down information to operator of press and production process. Investigates malfunction of machines and equipment to determine adjustments or need for troubleshooting. Follow safety regulations for press Retains last piece part and scrap strip from production die & records die condition, submits parts as needed. Move handle and /or load material to press or defined, once certified. Accurately inputs labor and quality data into data collection. Ability to measure material with MIC Be able to work alone or with a co-worker Able to stand for 8 hours or more Able to work in a loud environment Follow production schedule to meet goals Required Qualifications: No experience/ Entry level position Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to make appropriate, attention to detail. High School Diploma Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual/ Spanish Skills & Competencies: Strong computer, reading, and writing skills. Direct operational involvement Approach problems with solution-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration, and delivering sustainable outcomes. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Standing and walking for over 8 hours daily Lift at least 35 pounds. Work with wide range of equipment and extremely noisy environment that can pose significant risks. Able to work in fast paced environment Schedule: 1st Shift Monday thru Friday 5am-1:30pm
