Job Function: Under direction of the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator will follow all established procedures and policies while communicating and supporting quality standards to manufacturing departments in order to meet the company goals. Job Responsibilities: General working knowledge of the safety aspects of machinery. General working knowledge of machinery, including start up, set up, and shut down procedure. (Experience Preferred). Ability to read and understand work orders and job instructions. Able to work unsupervised for short periods of time and continue production. May be required to work overtime. Ability to learn and understand quality standards, causes of defects, and remedies to correct defects using hands, arms, and legs in handling, positioning, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds Provide appropriate feedback to departmental team leads, supervisors, and managers based on the results of tests and inspections TEAMWORK:  Support efforts by all team members to continuously improve company performance Job Qualifications: Problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to work well in teams with other employees. Follow all safety and environment regulations. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus. Working Conditions: Stand for long periods Lift bulky objects up to 50 lbs. Factory environment Varying noise levels. Fast-paced work.
