MACHINE OPERATOR - JOB VACANCY - FULL TIME - BASED AT NEWTOWNBUTLER BT92 6PX

We have a vacancy for an experienced workshop operative to operative and maintain several roll forming machines in our factory where we manufacture a wide range of roller doors.
Responsibilities include producing finished goods by feeding in raw materials into semi automated machines and keeping machines running at full capacity.. Constant inspection and checking of products produced to ensure and maintain high quality standards, and to take corrective measures to resolve any issues promptly.

Candidate must:

• Have a keen eye for detail and problem solving
• Have experience in operating machines
• Be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Have a good general level of fitness
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Forklift truck license (desirable, however training can be provided)

Salary £35,500 pa (approx. £16.50 per hour)
Core hours is Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (based on 42.5 working hour week), however due to the nature of the role, flexibility will be required to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the role.
