Overview We are looking for a Machine Operator to work on-site at a local manufacturing plant. This position will be working 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Anticipated duration is 6 months +. Responsibilities Will operate various types of production equipment (training will be provided). Responsible for clearing jams and basic troubleshooting. Perform basic changeover tasks. Clean, Inspect, lubricate equipment. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean work area. Will assist with movement of product or material throughout the plant. Qualifications Previous experience in a plant environment is preferred. Essential Functions Must be able to operate and work around industrial equipment. Must be able to walk up and down stairways to platforms. Must be able to work up to 12-hour shifts. Must be able to recognize potential safety dangers around plant equipment and walk-ways. Must be able to lift and move up to a 40-pound load. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (majority of work will be conducted from a standing position). Must be capable of walking the distance from parking lot to designated job area (may be 1 mile+), in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties. Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check according to company and client policies.
