Position Summary: We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our team in a fastpaced food manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe processing of food products in compliance with company standards and food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate food processing and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout the production run. Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Ensure accurate documentation of production data, such as batch records, machine settings, and downtime logs. Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols, including wearing required PPE. Conduct cleaning and sanitization of equipment as required during and after production. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any production or equipment concerns. Assist with changeovers, line startups, and shutdowns. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical processes quickly. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Working Conditions: Exposure to loud noise, varying temperatures, and production odors. Standing, bending, and lifting throughout shift. Fast-paced environment with strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
