POSITION SUMMARY:

The Machine Operator ensures the efficient and precise operation of our woodworking machinery. This role will require a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the cabinetry industry or woodworking is an asset.
• Experience using and operating similar machinery.
• Employees must be able to stand for long periods of time and make repetitive movements, such as bending and twisting.
• Compliant with health and safety standards and promotes a positive work environment.

• Assist machinists in the setup, operation, and maintenance of woodworking machinery, including but not limited to saws, drill, edgebander, CNC, planers, and sanders.
• Handle and organize raw materials.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, under the guidance of the senior machinists.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials according to provided specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Monitor the production process to identify and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper disposal of waste materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
