Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for a Machine Operators on the morning shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) at our Calgary manufacturing plant.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate manual and automated slitters, label and package products, and transport products to the shipping area.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • High attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Read and adhere to the safe work procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Verify conformance of the produced material to specifications.
  • Ensure proper labels and materials are used in the production process.
  • Manually package product in plastic wrap as needed.
  • Performs housekeeping on equipment and surrounding work area.
