Description Coating Machine Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift Location: Lake in the Hills, IL Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM or Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:30 am Compensation: $18.00/hr + Shift Differential AFC Materials Group is hiring a Coating Machine Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on production role where you’ll be trained on two key areas of our coating process – working with high-performance materials used in advanced industrial applications. If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and thrive in a team-driven environment, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Set up and operate coating machinery (PTFE, horizontal, or calendar-based systems) Perform quality checks and adjust processes as needed Mix coating materials per specifications Use our inventory system to complete basic production transactions Use our inventory system to complete basic production transactions What You’ll Bring High school diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or team-lift up to 100 lbs) Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems Willingness to obtain forklift certification Prior manufacturing or coating experience a plus Why Join AFC?
