Description
Troubleshoot the operation of the equipment as it pertains to the machine department, as needed. Perform and maintain various recordkeeping duties and clerical operations such as documentation of job, as required Perform other duties as assigned throughout the facility. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Amarillo Texas will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Position Criteria: Ability to stand and/or walk for 8-12 hours and to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Follow all safety regulations associated and wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) as required including half face respirators and PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) Work in various locations, including confined spaces, and at varied heights using fall protection, permits, and other safety processes and procedures as required including but not limited to lockout/tagout Forklift and frontend loader certified (powered industrial truck trained) Ability to work with limited supervision Ability to read, comprehend, and follow moderately technical standards, work instructions, schedules, and maintenance procedures Ability to work around molten metal and in a production environment that is hot and subject to unexpected swings of overtime (ability to flex personal schedule to cover tasks on other shifts) Ability to work proactively and communicate effectively while working with all employees throughout plant Ability to perform basic computer functions: eSafety, MESH Prism We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
