Description Set up and operate fabricating machines, according to designs and specifications. Available shifts: Evening shift 4:30pm-3:00am Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities Read and interpret drawings and cut lists. Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as laser, punch press, brake press, shears, flame cutters, and saws. Read tape measures and calipers Record and monitor material usage. Follow all established quality guidelines. Follow all established safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Requirements Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws safely. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to review designs and drawings (blueprints). Strong attention to detail in measurements and design specifics. Requires good judgment, and ability to work with others and perform other tasks as assigned. Previous work with structural steel and sheet metal. Experience operating a forklift. This position is located in Tea, SD.
