JOB OVERVIEW

In this role, you will operate an extruder machine to produce quality products and meet production schedules.
Must be able to work rotating 12-hour schedule (4 day on, 4 day off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Run Equipment : You will run an extruder machine to create film. You will perform basic maintenance and communicate any major issues to your team leader.
  • Paperwork: You will read, understand and follow job cards which will detail the specific information required for each job that is manufactured.
  • Compliance: You will ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements and will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with ISO/BRC standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong math, measurement and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor.

  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered during operations.
