JOB SUMMARY:
Position will set-up, operate and maintain at least one process machine (rotary, surface grinder, etc.) meeting both safety and production requirements. Maintain all quality and production records and assist with training as required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimal and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, writing diagrams, computer scanning devices, use of adjustable measuring instruments; checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data; interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
- Ability to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
- Assist in the implementation of EHS Values, policy statements and accompanying principals
- Comply with all departmental, facility, corporate and EHS guidelines and regulations
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report all job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook)
- Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner
- Attend all EHS training
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
