Summary: The Machine Operator I is responsible for the daily operation of filling machinery to produce top quality products.     Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:  * Know, understand, and follow production schedule in operation of machinery.  * Communicate with leadership on any issues that impede production.  * Troubleshoot machinery.  * Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes.  * Perform surface foaming and mechanical cleaning of machinery.  * Assist in quality inspections on materials and finished product.  * Document activities throughout shift.  * Proactively recognize and report safety issues.  * Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.  * Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.  * Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.  * Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.    Qualifications:  * High School Diploma or GED required.  * Experience in manufacturing environment in operator role, highly preferred.  * Proven exp    Other Skills and relevant considerations:  * Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.  * Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.  * Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.  * Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.  * Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.   * Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.  * Must be able to work in a wet and/or humid environment.  Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur.  Exposure to nut allergens.
