We are family-owned, people-powered, and we are adding to our #MerchFam in Mechanicsburg, PA. Merchology seeks a Machine Operator for our Production team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Machine Operator is a critical role that will be responsible for operating the embroidery, laser etching, and/or engraving equipment to create premium products for our customers. The Machine Operator will ensure the highest quality customization of our products, enhancing brand value and customer satisfaction through precision and attention to detail. Shift: Frist (6:00am - 2:30pm) A successful Machine Operator will: Successfully and safely run a multi-head Embroidery Machine (for level 1 products), print application equipment, or laser etching equipment in a consistent and careful manner Read and understand work orders to produce quality decoration outcomes for our customers Assure imprint films for other locations are packaged and sent to on time and complete Maintain equipment systems properly for optimum performance and longevity Notify Supervisor for any maintenance or malfunction issues Take ownership of the embroidery or laser etching and engraving station by keeping it clean, organized, and safe Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Computer skills and ability to interpret work orders to enter correct machine settings Ability to identify colors and shades and see fine details, utilize magnification as required Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate Ability to stand for 5-8 hours per day Positive and collaborative attitude Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds Technical aptitude - comfortable and industrial process machine operation and maintenance Demonstrated ability as a Machine Operator, or relevant experience WHAT WE OFFER In addition to an outstanding creative culture, authentically nice people, and interesting work, we have: The pay range for this role is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour Generous PTO (18 days per year) 8 company-paid holidays 40 hours of paid volunteer time 401(k) with match Medical and dental insurance options, FSA, and HSA Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability Company-sponsored social events Premium brand partner discounts Employee-led Committees in Social Events, Wellness, DE&I and Giveback LOCATION 5045 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg, PA Fully on-site role INDUSTRY Business to Business E-commerce and Apparel Merchology is an equal opportunity employer and Disability-owned Business Enterprise.
