Description

Malcolm Contracts Ltd is a well-established business in the Fencing & Landscaping industry, known for delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join us in the following roles.
This is a varied position, we are open to take on someone who has experience in any of the roles below, we would be open to have an individual cover one, two or three of the roles.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid CPCS/NPORS card.
  • Proven experience operating excavators.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid HGV 2 licence with CPC.
  • Previous experience driving HGVs.
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanics or similar field.
  • Experience with plant machinery and/or HGV repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate excavators safely and efficiently on site.
  • Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance of machinery.
  • Work closely with site managers and groundworkers to complete tasks on time.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Working in a forestry environment .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate HGV vehicles for the transport of goods and/or plant equipment.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on plant machinery and/or HGVs.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
  • Keep accurate service records and maintain workshop cleanliness.
