WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MACHINE ENCLOSING OPERATOR TO JOIN PARAGON’S DAGENHAM SITE, WORKING IN THE MACHINE ENCLOSING DEPARTMENT ON A ROTATING DAY SHIFT PATTERN.

As the Machine Enclosing Operator, you’ll set up and run auto-mail enclosing machines to process client workloads accurately and efficiently. You’ll ensure jobs are completed on time and in full, meeting strict SLAs and quality standards while maintaining compliance and safety throughout the production process.
Shift Pattern: 3-on, 2-off / 2-on, 3-off / 2-on, 2-off / 3-on, 3-off (06:00 – 18:00)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience operating enclosing, mailing, or print finishing machinery (preferred, but training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Basic computer skills.
• Team player with a proactive, flexible approach.

• Set up and operate auto-mail enclosing machines in line with work orders and client instructions.
• Maintain production output to meet SLAs and performance targets.
• Manage all aspects of the enclosing process, including stock replenishment, job scheduling, and throughput efficiency.
• Carry out quality checks and follow company processes for cleaning, maintenance, enclosing, and dispatch.
• Identify and report machine faults, stock issues, or print quality concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
