-Knowledge of fundamental cGMP and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
-Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and the operating principles of control systems.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Pilot Plant Machine Operator supports the manufacturing and packaging of metered dose inhalation (MDI) products within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role ensures compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety standards, and operational excellence to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMANUFACTURING OPERATIONS:

  • Dispense raw materials and primary packing materials in accordance with work orders.
  • Plan and execute production batches effectively.
  • Monitor and ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of production areas and machinery during batch and product changeovers as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform daily monitoring and recording of production materials and lines.
  • Conduct and document process checks in batch manufacturing records.
  • Operate machinery to minimize rejections and maximize outputs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safeguard equipment for smooth operation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in training other team members as needed.
  • Maintain discipline and professionalism within the department.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours to meet production schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including packaging, engineering, QA, and QC, for effective planning and execution.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
