Description

Description Work with and communicate with entire production crew. Build knowledge of production operation, learn how to operator equipment at desired rates and with minimum downtown. Communicate with crews, supervisors, and leads about production, quality, and safety issues. Requirements Job Requirements Maintain safe and clean work area to avoid personal injury and/or property damage. Use proper safety equipment and follow all procedures. Ability to learn other jobs and fill in when needed. Learn and operate machinery. Help perform changeovers. Must have the ability to learn and operate some of the following equipment (Including but not limited to) Strapper, brick machine, robots, dehacker, dehacker forkhead and unloading forklift. Ability and willingness to help throughout the Plant where needed. Must be able to work as a team player. Meet production quotas which will be discussed in detail. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly. Must wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times in required areas (Including but not limited to): Hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes. Ability and willingness to follow all required policies and procedures throughout the plants for production, quality, and safety. Work Schedules 2-2-3 Schedule, 12 hour shifts with mandatory overtime as needed for production. Example of 2 - 2 - 3 Schedule: Week 1: Monday / Tuesday (Work), Wednesday / Thursday (Off), Friday / Saturday / Sunday (Work) Week 2: Monday / Tuesday (Off), Wednesday / Thursday (Work), Friday / Saturday / Sunday (Off)

Responsibilities

The Machine Operator will work with the production crew to operate machinery and ensure production runs smoothly. They will communicate with supervisors about production, quality, and safety issues.
