Description:
Recruitment Select are proudly recruiting for a national manufacturing company based in the Shepparton area. We currently have the opportunity for a skilled, experienced and highly motivated Machine Operator to join and support their manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes :
- Have previous experience in a filling & capping line operating environment
- Understand 5S/Lean Manufacturing processes & high degree of pride in workmanship.
- Have sound communication skills and an understanding of modern OH&S practices
- Be able to perform in a team environment
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and/or a trade background
- Have solid literacy and numeracy skills
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of FMCG practices
- Be punctual and attentive.
Role and responsibilities:
- Ensure planned production requirements and delivery times are met
- Ensure efficiency and spoilage are optimized
- Ensure effective reporting of performance
- Compliance with the plant preventative maintenance & front line care program
- Liaise with Team Leader to ensure maximum uptime and resolution of problems
- Adherence to the quality system
- Compliance with OHS&E requirements
These positions will require the right candidate to have the flexibility to be able to work across several bottle filling plants and an ability to fulfil overtime requirements if needed.
