KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Basic mechanical awareness of factory automation principles
  • IT skills in machine data and control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience as a machine operator or in manufacturing industry preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials within agreed risk assessment limits

Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production plans and quality standards
  • Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment
  • Work with maintenance and quality control teams to reduce breakdowns and defects
  • Carry out changeovers
  • Product washouts
  • Material handling
  • Monitor quality and report any issues or defects
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
