OVERVIEW The Semi-Automatic Saw Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining semi-automatic saw machines with conveyor systems. This role ensures efficient cutting operations, proper material handling, and high-quality output while maintaining safety and production standards in a manufacturing environment. SHIFT(S): Day and Night Shift Available (An Additional 10% on top of the offer rate for nights) WHAT YOU’LL DO • Set up and operate semi-automatic saw machines for cutting operations • Adjust machine settings and load materials onto conveyor systems • Operate cranes and forklifts to safely move materials in and out of the machine • Nest work orders to maximize material usage and improve production efficiency • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on saw machines and conveyors • Monitor cutting processes and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards • Assist with material inventory audits and tracking • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications • Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols • Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, maintenance, and production output • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles • Participate in safety training sessions and report any safety concerns • Perform other duties as assigned WHAT YOU’LL NEED • High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of fabrication or related manufacturing experience • Experience operating semi-automatic saw machines or similar equipment • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals • Experience operating forklifts and cranes (certification preferred) • Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Good communication skills (written and verbal English required) WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive pay • Paid Time Off (for eligible full-time employees) • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance options • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Career growth opportunities • Safe, supportive, and team-oriented work environment WHAT IT’S LIKE Apache Workforce is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. As a Semi-Automatic Saw Operator, you’ll work in a fast-paced shop environment handling materials, operating machinery, and ensuring precision cuts that meet production standards. PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS: • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly • Work performed in a shop environment with exposure to varying conditions • Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment • Stand, bend, stoop, and reach frequently throughout the shift • Work up to 10 hours/day, up to 6 days/week • Use of PPE required (safety glasses required, ear protection recommended) • Steel-toe boots required in manufacturing facility • Must have normal vision and not be color blind Apache Workforce is an equal opportunity employer.
