TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS OPPORTUNITY, YOU WILL HAVE:

• Forklift (LF) license - would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently.
• A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.

THE ROLE:

Join our Northgate yard as a Machine Operator to safely operator machinery to sort, grade, and process used metal under the guidance of the Yard Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Load & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers.
• Operate equipment, including material handler and other plants (where licensed)
• Ensure customers receive a high level of service.
• Grading and sorting materials.
• Maintaining site and associated activities to comply with environmental guidelines while demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.
