We are looking for skilled Machine Operators, Controllers to Technicians to join our team at our Orkie site in Freuchie. These key roles ensure that production machinery is operated, controlled, monitored, and maintained at optimum levels.
Do you have previous experience in machine operation or minor maintenance repairs? Have you maybe got CNC experience and want to move into a different industry? Our Machine Controllers carry out minor repairs and basic preventative maintenance in order to enhance machine uptime and to achieve product quality standards.

THE ROLE INVOLVES

~ Pre Start Up Checks conducted and recorded
~ Ensuring colleagues using machinery have been provided with relevant training
~ Fault finding and mechanical issue solving or flagging up to others where required
~ Communication with supervisors and teams leads to understand targets
~ Delegate tasks to team members / machine operatives
~ Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork associated with the role
~ Minimising waste of raw and packaging materials
~ Checking packaging prior to production runs
~ Quality control checks on packaging and print
~ Supporting our technicians
~ Nurturing relationships with our engineering teams and other departments
