Position starts at $17.70 with a shift differential of $1.35 for working on 2nd shift. We currently have open positions for multiple shifts for various Machine Operator positions that applicants may be considered for. WE PROVIDE ON THE JOB TRAINING! Job Duties: • Required to operate touch illustrated operating panel, safeties, and switches. • Small mechanical adjustments. • Use handheld scanner. • Visually inspect product for any deficiencies. • Required to set up and tear down area at the beginning and end of processing. • Use handheld scanner. • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. • May need to operate forklift. • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements. • May use SAP if transferred /rotated. • Proficiency in reading and writing ; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels • Computer skills (if applicable). • Attention to detail. • Ability to solve simple math. • Lock out Training is required. • Must be able to become Forklift Certified (if applicable). • Must be willing to take and pass various tests regarding safety and food safety practices. • Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. • Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. • Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. • Must be willing and able to lift 20-67lbs occasionally and hold 5-77lbs continuously. • Must be willing and able to push and pull rack on rail system ranging from 65lbs up to 1400lbs. • Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 77lbs. • The Team Member will perform repetitive motion of the shoulders, arms, and hands with up to 50 repetitions per minute. • The Team Member will visually inspect product. • The Team Member will work with different spices. • The Team Member will work in cold and damp environments (22-40°F temperatures) for 8-10 hours per day. • The Team member will stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day. • The Team Member will bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the day. • The Team Member will reach high and low levels, frequently. • The Team Member will work with both hands and arms simultaneously throughout the day. • The Team Member will use hands, fingers, and wrists to grasp, pull, and flex. • The Team Member will climb step ladders and/or stairs. Requirements: • Must have a minimum of 3 months of work history Applicants will be considered for Labor level openings. Leveling (pay) is determined based on availability of relevant labor level job.
